Cat-dependent Human

Hallo, mein Name ist Lia (32) und ich arbeite als Redakteurin und Kulturvermittlerin. Ich komme aus Argentinien und lebe seit 2018 in Wien. In meiner Freizeit fahre ich gerne Rad, schwimme in der Donau und zeichne. Ich spreche Deutsch, Englisch, Spanisch und Portugiesisch.

Hello, my name is Lia (32) and I work as an editor and cultural mediator. I come from Argentina and have been living in Vienna since 2018. In my free time I like cycling, swimming in the Danube and drawing. I speak German, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Seit meiner Kindheit habe ich mein Leben mit Haustieren geteilt, die meisten von ihnen waren Katzen. García, Camila, Dorian... und seit 2022 bin ich glücklich, Noras Mutter zu sein. Nora ist eine wunderschöne graue Katze aus der Ukraine. Sie ist selbstverständig immer noch vom Krieg traumatisiert. Sie ist oft schüchtern, aber sie liebt es, gestreichelt zu werden, wenn man sie gut kennenlernt. Sie frisst gerne Katzengras (fast vegetarisch!) und miaut sehr oft für Aufmerksamkeit. Wenn ich sie trage, versteckt sie gerne ihren Kopf unter meinem Arm, so ein Baby!

Since my childhood I have shared my life with pets, most of them were cats. García, Camila, Dorian... and since 2022 I am happy to be Nora's mom. Nora is a beautiful gray cat from Ukraine. She is of course still traumatized by the war. She is often scared, but she loves to be petted if you get to know her well. She likes to eat cat grass (almost vegetarian!) and meows very often for attention. When I carry her, she likes to hide her head under my arm (like in the picture), such a baby!

Ich mag Tiere, aber ich muss sagen, dass Katzen alles für mich sind. Ich brauche ihre Energie, damit mein Leben flüssig läuft, und ihr Schnurren ist wie eine Therapie für mich. Ich liebe ihre Stimmung, ihre Liebe und ihr Vertrauen. Da ich viele Jahre Erfahrung mit Katzen habe, weiß ich genau, dass sie Geduld brauchen, um neue Menschen zu vertrauen. Ich bemühe mich darum! Ich kümmere mich an: Futter und frisches Wasser, Spiel- und Kuschelzeit, Reinigung der Näpfe und Katzentoilette, tägliche Whatsapp Nachrichten :)

I like animals, but I have to say that cats are everything to me. I need their energy to keep my life running smoothly and their purring is like therapy for me. I really appreciate their mood, their love, their trust. Since I have many years of experience with cats, I can totally appreciate what every kind of cat needs. I know how they need patience and trust to get to know new people. Also, I am happy to pet them (if they like to), play with them soccer, and especially feed them and keep their toilet clean. Nobody wants a dirty toilet!
